Presented by:

MPhil, Ancient History and Archaeology, JNU, 2019

No video of the event yet, sorry!

I'm a PhD student in Archaeology, and the questions I get asked most often include: Do you work with dinosaurs? Which civilization do you work with? Are there any discoveries left to be made in India? Why are you always complaining about having no resources?!

This presentation is a small attempt at busting myths about the field of archaeology, while waxing poetic about everything that is actually exciting about this field, which is both vibrant and under-resourced in India. A general talk for the uninitiated, with some concrete examples based on my own research on medieval archaeology in the Deccan.
